Module 5 Energetic Awakening, Yogic Philosophy and Personal Balance
The goal of the yogi is to learn, grow and unite with the divine inside all of us. Ancient sages identified and categorized many energetic principles and created systematic disciplines to further physical well-being and to relax the mind to awaken an enlightened state and elevate consciousness. Module 6 Illuminating Yoga Anatomy, Physiology and Kinesiology
The study of the human body is an incredibly vast, fascinating science and good yoga teacher will make the study of it a persistent and regular part of their pedagogy. In the day-to-day yoga classroom environment you will find a surprisingly number of consistent student contraindications. Being able to acknowledge, support and provide alternatives and for these while being able to identify resources and for the not so common physical situations are a necessity for the successful yoga teacher.

Module 7 Cultivating an Inviting and Nurturing Environment
For many the yoga studio is a spiritual space for healing and to redirect towards renewal and rejuvenation. Preparing the learning environment into a sanctuary for replenishment and assisting the individual student into this transition and throughout the class in a comforting and supportive way is paramount for learning success. Utilization of tools and teaching methodology in discerning a complimentary balance of individual and classroom instruction is necessary to create an intimate, holistic integration towards positive transformation and an affirmative, enjoyable experience.

Module 8 Intuitive Planning and Going with the Flow
For most aspiring students their first experience with yoga is the asana that they have seen and the subsequent descriptions of physical and emotional healing. Teachers need to be understanding and supportive of individual perceptions and goals while assisting appropriately for the student's current place in their journey. Remaining sensitive and receptive to this while guiding the dynamic subtle energy of the classroom is an important skill. Staying aware of individual safety, alignment, possible contraindications while providing positive corrections, encouraging growth and acknowledging success are all elements that need to be acknowledged and fostered in a positive affirming manner.

Module 9 Brightening Inner Space and Diving Deep
Modern science recognizes the same benefits of breath regulation and meditation as the ancient yogis. Directed utilization of the subtle energy provided by the breath can be increased dramatically by taking the time to acknowledge and practice techniques accessible to all. As complicated or foreign many breathing and meditation practices may appear to some, there are common understandable baselines for any aspiring student. Demystifying the various processes and shedding light on comprehensible, easy to follow practices help to lay a foundation for exploration of a more advanced yoga practice.

Module 10 Subtle Awareness and Dynamic Movement Support
Staying flexible with plans for a class is a reality that needs to be accepted and embraced as a positive and affirming experience for the teacher. Abilities, expectations, emotional and physical situations often vary greatly and student conditions may be readily apparent while others require a more indirect examination or even discriminating verbal inquiry. Information regarding conditions requiring modifications may never appear in some situations and it is up to the discerning teacher to recognize and support the individual while facilitating inclusion, elevating the classroom atmosphere and acknowledging success.

Module 11 Creative Yoga Business Practices and Contemporary Trends
With its ever-increasing popularity the world of modern yoga is dramatically and rapidly changing. Technology and current communication practices are making yoga more accessible and attainable to a much wider audience. With the progressive influx of teachers in often-limited regional markets, finding a job in a traditional studio while not impossible is increasingly more difficult. However, there is always room for the heart-centered, creative entrepreneur and exciting new alternatives for those aspiring to share the joy and their unique gifts while teaching yoga.
