Echo Bluff State Park, nestled in Mark Twain National Forest near the Current River State Park has a lodge with conference areas, deluxe rooms, cabins and a 62 site campground. It also features a full-service restaurant and snack/gift shop. The grounds include a mountaintop covered pavilion, amphitheater, trail system and a large spring that creates "Sinking Creek" which flows into the Current River. Breathing Life Into Yoga
with Bill Lynch
Saturday, March 24, 1:30-3:30
Awareness of breathing helps to achieve calmer, slower respiration and aid in relaxation and pain management. Yoga's inclusion of relaxation techniques and meditation can also help reduce pain. Part of the effectiveness of yoga in reducing pain is due to its focus on self-awareness. This workshop will focus on fundamental practices of vinyasa yoga: ujjayi breath, energy locks, sun salutations, asanas and Vinyasas to prepare the student for development of an established personal practice.
The cost of this workshop is $40 and pre-registration is not required, but preferred. All proceeds go to Care To Learn's "Care to Kick It" Fundraiser. See more details on their website here.

Cultivating an Open Heart
with Amy Cheng-Whittaker
Saturday, February 24th 1:30-3:30 PM
We are under constant bombardment – news, social media, demands from family and friends, and other people’s dramas. To protect ourselves, we hunch our way through each day with rounded back, layering ourselves with indifference and distrust, to protect our most treasured center – our heart. But what we may not realize is that if we take that chance in being vulnerable, we can open ourselves to wonderful experiences in our lives.
“Open your heart, ignite the flame in your being and awaken the natural flow of life energy in your heart. When your heart opens, the world around you changes.” -Mingtong Gu
Join us and share in the experience of learning to open your heart, begin to trust in yourself and others, and change your world.
